Movie Review
: Amazingly immersive, The Revenant was a very heartfelt and epic cinematic experience, which was brilliantly directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, showing the brutal horrors of nature and the wilderness. Absolutely beautiful cinematography and camerawork, with breath-taking shots of the cold wild. They also managed to pull off only to use natural lighting for the entire film, and it surely gave promising results. Incredible acting, mainly Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy, they gave an outstanding performances, yet again proving to us they are one of the most dynamic and immersive actors of our generation, I could barely even recognize them in the movie. The emotions in the film were very strong, as we could always feel the tension and conflict between the characters very firmly. This film got me to connect and sympathize, which is what makes this film so much more riveting, I did truly care about the characters.
